To find truth,
we must recognize deception.
Truth: that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality
Deception: the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid
Deception is not the opposite of truth. Deception is an intentional act intended to disguise a real thing, fact, or event. Deception is a learned skill that can be honed over time to disguise lies. But the truth can still be detected.
